envelope sling bag

i did another bag today.. a sling bag with envelope style cover.



added a row of buttons..



two pockets inside..



a wider strap than i normally did.




still have not decide whether to use magnetic snap or velcro for closure or just leave it like that. i am just sewing it for fun.. just wanted to do a few bags for samples. i wish i have more stock of fabrics so that i could create more bags with diff patterns.. at the moment i only have stripes and a couple of other pattern. i can't afford to purchase more fabrics.. it's the end of the year and so a lot of money will be spend on kids school preparations.
